7.2 billion… There are 7.2 billion people in the world right now all living. Thinking. Being… All trying to figure it out… And by ‘it’ I mean life… Each of us with our own unique point of view… Complaining is inevitable; and we all do it. But what is all of this complaining doing to you? What is this complaining doing to all of us?
You are human
I used to complain all the time. And the truth is I really didn’t know any better then. We are raised in a society that teaches us that it’s normal to dwell on the past, to judge people, to allow our pain to predict our future, to compare ourselves to others, to push through our emotions, to ‘work hard’, to be believe that martyrdom is holy – to disconnect from our true selves.
What most of us don’t realize is that when we complain we give away our power. We hollow our hearts. We walk around, an empty shell of a human; and instead of spreading love, we spread fear. Or some version of fear – anger, jealousy, envy, shame, guilt, hate… If you start to play close attention, you can actually feel the vital life force energy drain from your body when you are complaining or when someone else is complaining to you.
You are the creator of your life
My intention today is not to make you, myself or anyone else ‘wrong’ for complaining, but rather to reconnect us all to our true selves. To have you, me, all of us remember that life is never happening to us – we are creating life… With every thought, every word, every glance, every touch and every connection, we are creating life; and it happens in an instant.
You are not a victim…
Ever… Hold your head up high…
You are at your core the sweetest soul budding and blooming in the rain.
You are powerful beyond measure…
And this is your life.
This is your time right now.
How do you want to spend your time?
Are you with me?
I say, let’s put an end to human suffering; and where it begins is with ourselves. It begins with self-love. It begins with unshackling ourselves from the stories, situations, circumstances and people who have imprisoned our hearts and souls for far too long. Watch the video I created to learn further about the emotional, spiritual and energetic impacts that complaining has on all of us.
My one wish for you today is that you read this and feel even more connected to your own natural beauty, divine grace and inner strength. Complaining is not bad. It is a gentle nudge from the universe to look a little deeper… To explore your Self…
Happy exploring my friend.
